The director was extremely helpful and answered all our questions. The staff were friendly and outgoing. We had lunch and talked to a few of the residents. The only complaint was that the food was "to good." The rooms were nice, the studios were spacious. The only drawback is that transportation is limited to the immediate Clintonville area. Mom will have to change medical providers. One thing not expected was a deposit option. A $250 refundable deposit will hold a room for up to 60 days. Mom was impressed, another plus. All in all, a good visit and worth checking out.

Aster is a great place for assisted care!

Aster is wonderful! The staff and personnel are polite, friendly and helpful. Every attempt to make your stay here pleasant and comfortable. It feels like home. Three meals a day are provided, laundry is done weekly for you, along with weekly changing of sheets and pillow cases. The cleaning is also done for you once a week. trash pick-up is daily or every other day.Transportation is available for errands and appointments and there are many social activities like bingo, various card games, happy hours, movie nights, exercises, craft activities, church services and devotional times. Family is always welcome to visit and can stay and enjoy a meal with their family member for a fair price. Medical care is provided. We have been here almost two months and it is home.
