Highly recommend

We chose Benchmark because of the staff kindness and understanding of his needs. They always encourage him to join in activities and make him feel like a person instead of a patient. My brother is on the cranky side, and the staff always manages to make him feel special and bring a smile to his face.

Overall Satisfied

The facility is great. The residents get a call button to alert staff for help. It is a private pay facility, so medicaid funds are not accepted. We've recently learned this and revisiting other agencies that do accept state funds (when that time comes, within next 3 years, most likely)

Amazing care felt like a home

My experience in plymouth crossing was amazing from the greeting at the front door to each and every staff person at benchmark. It truly feels like a home away from home every interaction was very sincere and caring. The activities in this facility is wonderful each and every day, every one is included nomatter their abilities. I loved how you could join in at anytime of the day or night. Benchmark always welcomed me and offered me treats as if it was their home. The music on Wednesdays,Fridays an Sunday's was phenomenal, there was always another seatt for family or friends to join in on the fun. Also I loved how they had catholic masses at this facility the room was always filled with people.on other occasions you could watch a catholic mass in the living room. They also provide a room for small gatherings such as birthdays which is wonderful as my mom turned ninety at plymouth crossing. The staff was so helpful and a cake and gift is always provided for all clients.

Amazing Facility

My loved one was previously a resident at Benchmark Senior Living at Plymouth Crossings and this facility was absolutely amazing. The staff really treat their residents and residents' families like their own family. They are super attentive to everyone's needs. The facility is always spotless. They also have a lot of events that they invite families to come to. Unfortunately, it was getting too costly for us and we had to move our loved one to a different facility.

A daughter's perspective

My mother made this decision on her own. I went to check out the placement once she was settled. Staff are prompt to reply in event of emergency issues. My mother doesn't care for all the activities & I encourage her to talk with program staff. Cost is high, but understand that each feature she has comes with a cost. Knowing she is safe gives me peace of mind living far away

Comfort, Caring in a place where the staff has stayed for decades

Plymouth Crossing was a very good assisted living facility with seniors that need more assistance. My mother only lasted two weeks there before she passed. I would recommend to others.

Extremely Satisfied

We were extremely satisfied with this facility. My loved one received top quality care, we couldn't have asked for any better. The staff was wonderful. I've never met such nice people. They are a great group here. The food was very good. My loved one wasn't able to participate in any of the activities, so I can't rate that one. But I can say that they seemed to have things going on all the time and it looked like the residents were enjoying themselves. Housekeeping was great. Communication with the family was excellent and they always answered when I called. This facility was just excellent. I would definitely recommend this facility to family and friends. I'm saving up to be able to live here when my time comes!

Our Tour Experience

I thought it was a gorgeous facility. I would have liked to live there myself! But for us, it felt like it was a little over the top for our loved one. The amenities kind of felt like they were more for the families than the residents. They had a lot to offer, but they were much more expensive. Cost aside, I loved the facility, and I thought they did a great job with tour.

Very supportive - I feel supported as well as my loved one. I have confidence in the poeple here.

They made the whole move-in process very easy for me. And it's a complicated process to move from one faciltiy to another, especially during Covid with all the checks and everything. It had thbe coordinated with hospice. Eveyrthing had 4-5 different steps to it, and they were very helopful making it go as smoothly as posisble form their end. There is one person who has been my main contact. If I don't know who to talk to, I send her a message or a text. And she'll let me know who can anser my questin. Isntead of just hunting and pecking for who to contat, I hav point perosn, andtha'ts been very helpful Very clean, limited access to the facilty There a couple of days for move in. The staff have reached out to me and made phone calls. When we were moving in, the management stoped by, offered help. really wen tout of their way. The care my loved one is getting is great. My lvoed one says the food is great, and they're assisting her with eating. SO she's getting three solid meals a day. That wasn't happening at the last place we were in. Her preferncef sometimes. The activities sound good, but my loved one is not able to participate. Nor is she a joiner bynature. For what I'm geting there for the money, it seems like a good value. They send out bills, they detail it, they provide a summary at the end of hte year for tax purposes. It was just all very nice. Everything has been a real positve experience for me.

I would definitely recommend

Our experience so far has been great and the care takers have been great. They still are able to engage the residents in some activities, our loved one is doing puzzles, coloring and bingo. We have not heard much feedback about the food, but she has said over the phone that it is good. We also think the value is excellent.

My experience with Benchmark Senior Living

We chose Benchmark Senior Living because it was recommended and they had availability quickly when we needed it. They were also able to accept him during covid which a lot of places would not. The room sizes here are just right for him. From what I can see, they have activities and residents seem to be having a good time here. Overall, I am pleased with our experience.

Exceptional

At 97 years old, our Mom was not happy about leaving her home of 71 years, so this was not an easy process. After a couple of falls and a brief hospitalization, it was necessary to move quickly. We did a tour with only a few minutes notice and were beyond happy with how sincere all staff were, and maybe even more telling, how happy the residents were. The facility and the grounds are spotless and the interior is beautiful and bright. It’s not easy to get Mom on the phone since she’s often at some program that’s offered - quality music, movies, and current events. The meals are wonderful and there are always options. The whole staff at Plymouth Crossings is incredible, knowledgeable, and attentive. Benchmark at Plymouth Crossings has made a very difficult process so much better for all of us.
