Superb health care at afforable cost

I am so very thankful for the loving care Mom (age 86 - COPD and dementia) receives at Carter-May Home. She was in Pinewood in Goose Creek, SC for about a year and a half until they raised her level of care out of my price range. When I sought other options and found Carter-May, I knew I had found a jewel ... a well-kept secret for excellent health care at affordable cost! First, it is smaller than most facilities (only @ 20 residents) so each receives much individual attention. Next, they use Fox Rehab as their therapists, Those girls are on the ball and text me and let me know Mom's progress or if she needs a mobility aid. The Catholic sisters are very detail oriented and follow the Dr's advice precisely. The Dr. who visits is also excellent at communicating with family and gives residents wonderful care and attention. Mom also loves the food there. The best part is their compassionate director, [Removed]. She sets the tone with her loving, caring way with the residents. An excellent place when your loved one cannot stay at home any longer.
