A Family Environment

Heritage House has experienced and caring staff that are familiar with dementia and how to relate to the residents. It is a locked down facility, so the residents are in a safe environment. The facility is designed to feel like the residents are living in a family home which includes a kitchen, livingroom, dinning room and separate bedrooms with a bathroom. The staff is very supportive of the resident's family members and available to address any concerns. Knowing that my loved one is being well looked after and supervised is a reassuring feeling.

Good, caring staff

They have very good and caring staff. They do have some that have been there quite awhile and those people are really gentle and caring. They could improve on the food a bit. My Mom did not have any teeth and a couple of times they served her food that she couldn't eat.
