Excellent care

They were very, very good. We found out about them from the hospital. They provided through the medicare program 5 days a week, a person for four hours a day from 12 to 4 (the hours we chose) to just sit with him. What we thought was really, really excellent is they also approved a nurse to come over night and that really, really helped because with the staffing Sunrise had, they weren't going to check in on my father, they couldn't do it so have that nurse there all the time from 8 to 8 really helped

Uniformly bad

My 93 year old father died exactly two weeks to the day after being evaluated and then denied by hospice home care,he was having clogged catheter issues and swollen feet at the time of the evaluation and very weak.He suffered and was hospitalized and died of congestive heart failure. The Hospice evaluation nurse clearly had no idea what she was looking at and a 93 year old disabled veteran unnecessarily suffered his last days.
