Park View review

My dad passed away in [date removed] and was only at Park View Retirement for 1 1/2 months, however. They were very kind and the residents were very friendly. Food was great. Hope this helps. They were as helpful as they could be.

Caring staff homemade treats!

Park View Retirement Home is a small, owner-operated facility across from a park. The facility is close to transportation and has a bus stop out front. Bright dining room. Caring staff. The apartments are varied from small to large suites with balconies and a private bathroom. They are also reasonably priced, $[removed] a month. Not sure for any areas of improvements that could be made, it is an older building and only has 1 elevator.

Park View Review

Park View Retirement is a good place. My sister is happy here. It is nothing fancy but the people are all very friendly and it is working out for her. It is not in the best part of town though, it is in downtown Brantford. Other than that we have no complaints and would recommend to others looking for independent living.

Great place to live.

So happy to have [name removed] settled in and happy. She likes it , and the food is good. People are friendly. They were so patient helping her get into the routine of the house. She loves it there and we think the staff and owners are wonderfully!!! Thank you for everything. The lady from “A Place for Mom” who found this home, is highly recommended. Many thanks to you!

Rooms seemed more like cells. Lovely dining room but halls were narrow and small. Atmosphere seemed depressing.

The Staff are professional and friendly. I was concerned about the small elevator and how paramedics with a stretcher would not fit inside in the event of an emergency. There are many narrow hallways with doorways that would not allow a wheelchair through, as well the doors are all manual. Lastly, and not a safety concern, the sleeping areas are not air conditioned.
