Amazing,Loving Staff of Caregivers

When my mother's physical/mental health made home care impossible, my brother and I settled on Rose of Sharon for mother's end of life care. Sharon was able to work with hospice doctors to straighten out medication blunders from mother's last hospital/rehab stay and mother's health did improve. There is no grand piano or chandeliers at Rose of Sharon but an amazing loving staff who cried as much as we did when mother passed away.

Rose of Sharon, Quite comfortable senior living

Rose of Sharon is a really good place to put your loved ones, they are christian based, love their residents, newly decorated home with ample space to move around, great lighting, large living room, large dining room, quiet neighborhood, 1/2 mile off from hwy. 316. I would recommend to any one, private bedrooms and semi private bedrooms also, just like family.

Worst experience possible

This place claims to have Christian values and promises to take care of your loved one, but they are borderline [removed]. The nurses smoke cigarettes on the premises, leave residents unattended, provide no form of entertainment aside from planting them in front of a TV all day, and do not practice responsible safety measures. They essentially hire anyone who can read and write, including (but not limited to) 70 year old "caregivers", and women far along in pregnancy, neither of whom should do heavy lifting of the residents. The few people (approximately 2) who work there which are qualified spend 90% of their shift on the cell phone taking personal calls. This would be the very last place that I would trust with someone I loved. Don't be misguided by their completely transparent "Christian values."

Great looking place!

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for our loved one. This place looked absolutely wonderful, and it would have been our number one choice. Unfortunately our loved one had wandering issues that they would not have been able to provide for here. However, if we ever have any additional care needs this will be at the top of our list!
