Clear second choice after Grand Living (Toyota vs Lexus) but at a much more reasonable price point"

Dad passed away in [month removed], while living at Royal Dalton. I and my siblings would give it a high 4 for cleanliness, care, and overall atmosphere. We always found the staff to be courteous, responsive, and helpful. Dad was less happy with it, having moved from Grand Living which, while more elegant, became too costly as he required more and more services. The food we had there (at RDH) was always good, but Dad didn't care for the European-style heavier lunches and light dinners, especially as he lost his ability to swallow solid food and his doctors specified thickened liquids and pureed food (not the fault of RDH, but it colored his perception). The other residents we interacted with seemed to enjoy the amenities and activities, but Dad tended to stay solitary and not participate (partly because of his physical condition, partly by nature). Communication with staff was always good when there were problems. Manager [name removed] was always accessible, helpful and friendly.

Couldn't be happier

Our loved one is very happy at the Royal Dalton House. They have a ton of different activities going on like bingo, board games, and noodle ball. They also have a day where the ladies can have their nails done and their hair all fixed up. They have a sit down dining area and have a full set menu for the day. If there is something on the menu that the residents do not care for, they have other alternative options.
