Owned and operated by a small family, we illuminate a family-like atmosphere naturally, so anyone who enters our home is immediately a part of our loving unit. We are conveniently located by the Ypsilanti golf course and just a couple miles from Ann Arbor and Saline, making off-site leisure easy and accessible.</p> <h3>Community Services and Amenities</h3> <p>We maintain a well-trained and compassionate staff, sensitive to the different needs of everyone in our community. We house adults aged 50 and better, and encourage everyone in our community to sustain independence with assistance from staff to help with daily tasks. With our close staff to resident ratio, we are better able to attend to the needs of every person and modify care plans and services as necessary — always cultivating a community where people are genuinely cared for.</p> <p>We enjoy a variety of activities daily and coordinate social, physical, and mentally stimulating activities throughout the calendar year to enrich the spirits of the household. We enjoy dinners and outings with residents and their families regularly and continue to add programs and activities for the community to enjoy as a whole.</p> <h3>Living Arrangements</h3> <p>Our home is very unique in its features. It is a Ranch-style home with two and a half bathrooms, and each bedroom has its own vanity. It has a front porch and deck on the back, with a very big yard where residents can take quiet strolls or enjoy a good book outdoors. We have living accommodations to suit resident needs. Reach out to us to learn more about our resident units and special services.</p> <h3>Care Types Offered</h3> <p>Sasse AFC Home is an <em>adult foster care facility</em>, which in the state of Michigan is a facility that provides foster care for adults who are aged, mentally ill, developmentally disabled, or physically disabled who require supervision on an ongoing basis but who do not require continuous nursing care.
