Staff was very kind and caring

I recently spent several months at The Madison after an injury for physical therapy. The physical and occupational therapists were very kind and patient and they kept me motivated and positive throughout my therapy. They carefully evaluated my status and were quick to change the course of my therapy when needed. The best therapists I’ve ever had. There are so many of the CNA’s and nurses that I saw everyday and I’d love to thank you all by name. The doctors, the Nurse practitioners and the administrative staff were amazing. I felt spoiled and so well cared for. Because of that I could fully focus on healing and getting well. Thank you all!

Do not recommend

Do not send family or friends to this facility is you love and care for them. Staff are unprofessional and rude. Staff will not help residents use the restroom and will yell at family members of the resident.

Terrible faculty

Some of the staff do not wear badges. Per the state law, all employees should wear badges. When you ask them to wear one they think you are wrong of asking them. I told them I wanted to see the badge. Anyone can walk into your room and you will not know who it is. Then your loved ones are in danger. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE and the staff think they are in control of your health (missing giving some of medication for 4 days and checking my glucose levels ). The Executive Director had a worker call my daughter for financial responsibility on [date removed]. My daughter has never been up there nor signed any paperwork then they tried to get me to sign the paperwork on [date removed] to correct their mistake I refused to sign then Executive Director became RUDE and stated "you want me to call the State of TX." I told her I knew how to call the State of TX and then told I was discharging myself. By the way, They miss taking residents' vital signs. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVERS THERE if you love them.

Amazing therapy team

The Madison on Marsh has the most outstanding, professional, and helpful therapy team I have ever encountered! I am especially impressed with the way the therapy team take their time to work with each individual patient giving supportive encouragement.

The Madison has been very good.

The Madison has been very good. They were very good about helping with finding clothes if we needed. They have very good food. The only thing is that they have shared rooms, and you don't necessarily get to pick your roommate. They have been very good about getting her rehabilitated, and back on her feet, and making sure she is bathed and fed, and all of that.
