We pride ourselves on building a retirement community filled with wholesome energy, great amenities, supportive living services, and all around nice people.</p> <h3>Community Amenities and Services</h3> <p>Our compassionate staff also help ensure that residents' health needs are met by assisting residents with their unique activities of daily living. We can assist with such things as meals and activities, medication reminders, mobility, and scheduled transportation for appointments and outings. We understand that caring for seniors should not take a one-size-fits-all approach, so we make it our duty to update our methods of care for each resident, considering every individual and their evolving needs.</p> <p>As an active-lifestyle retirement community, we encourage residents to enjoy the array of activities provided here everyday. Our fitness program is a wonderful way to stay in shape, and our Academy for Seniors is an educational program just perfect for residents who would like to exercise their minds with lifelong learning opportunities. And, of course, we have our Seniors’ Senior Prom, an occasional event we host where residents dress to impress and enjoy the evening in the midst of their peers. It’s always a wonderful time here at Timbers of Shorewood.</p> <h3>Living Arrangements</h3> <p>Prospective residents can choose from our spacious, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. All of our units have private phones, which is convenient for making calls in the comfort of one’s apartment. Our staff provide regularly scheduled housekeeping and laundry services, and residents are all provided with emergency call pendants to notify staff of any time sensitive needs.</p>
