The Solace program also offers extra support to residents in the later stages of dementia — it supports seniors by offering assistance with grooming and provides unique music aromatherapy opportunities. In addition to programming, safety is a top priority.</p> <p>Residents and family members find peace of mind knowing staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to an emergency. Plus, the community features additional protective measures including keypad entries, monitored exits, and an enclosed flower-filled courtyard and garden. Mealtimes are also managed and offer one-on-one support and socialization. Residents sit together at the same time and table each day to help alleviate stress and confusion. Familiar tasks such kitchen work, gardening, and other projects are provided to help residents flourish and find familiarity. Each day at Brookdale Meridian is designed to make residents' lives safe and easy.</p> <h3>Community Services and Amenities</h3> <p>With cozy common areas such as a fireside living room, a well-lit game room, and convenient services like the beauty/barber shop, there’s much to look forward to. Cognitive workouts, brain stimulating games, walking groups, dancing, and other activities are available to residents daily. Be sure to ask about the Personal Solutions program on site, too. This helpful program can save you a quick trip to the store. Submit a list of personal items such as shampoo, toilet paper, or other necessities, and staff will deliver the items to your door privately, discreetly, and at no additional cost to you.</p> <h3>Living Arrangements</h3> <p>Residents can choose between two studio apartments and a companion suite to decorate with their personal treasures.
