The facility was very comfortable, clean and open. All personnel were very helpful and I thought my mother would like having such a nice cafeteria. I would recommend them without hesitation.

This is definitely a 5 star facility. The way the residents and staff interact is amazing. Everyone you speak to is called by their name and they are very social. Very happy environment, very clean and so much is offered to keep you busy. “I want to take a moment to recognize [name removed] for the outstanding way she carries herself in her role. She consistently goes above and beyond her job responsibilities, never hesitating to step in and help wherever she is needed. Her depth of knowledge is truly impressive, and she has a way of making even the most complicated situations feel manageable. Just as importantly, she is incredibly personable — treating everyone with respect, warmth, and kindness. Her combination of professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for others makes her an invaluable part of the team and a true example of excellence.” I for one, am eternally grateful to her. I am very impressed with the care, lifestyle activities and every thing at Brookdale, Paddock Hills. The staff is friendly and helpful the family night was great we ate dinner with our family resident and there was music. The food is always good, with many choices for residents. There are many activities for the residents to do. The facility is clean and well cared for, there is always someone at the front desk, even on weekends to greet you. I am so blessed to have found this place for my family member

Great for everything, except administrative staff - I have two late bills from a problem with the website and can't get them taking care of. Things I like about the community - the staff is nice, and my mom says the food is good and they take good care of her.

Brookdale has proven to be a good fit for our Aunt. She has been there a little over a year and has adjusted well. Early on we had to work together to get my Aunt to this point but it happened. It is difficult not living in state but the staff is available for questions and concerns. They keep me informed if anything happens. I do have a sitter but that is more for me since I am not able to be there daily. Especially in Memory Care It is important to understand that staff has a difficult job and kindness goes a long way. Placing family in someone else's care is difficult but with patience, a willingness to work together plus a good staff it is possible.

I moved my Mother there 4 months ago and she is 100% happy there and the staff has done great helping her with the transition. She was real reluctant to go to assisted living because she can do a lot on her own but she knows she needs help with other things but has nothing but good things to say about her new home.

she went a week without a bath. Wore same clothes the whole time and they kept telling us they couldn't make her bathe. They are professionals in healthcare. She had poop on her bed, chair and commode on several occasions. She had Covid and did die from it I begged for them to give comfort meds and they said she would get it around clock and didn't inform me the med tech would not be there the night before we moved her to hospice. I can go on and on. She did enjoy the meals and dining a lot but the activities were very minimal. Do NOT recommend this facility or if you do make sure loved ones understand all of this.

My loved one was previously a resident at Brookdale Paddock Hills and the overall experience was terrible. They sold us a bill of goods that they couldn't deliver. My loved one required way more than they could handle, and they knew it going in. The care was terrible and they charged us the max care rate for the two months that my loved one was a resident there. Some of the staff were very friendly, but there were only a couple of aides that were worth their wages. Overall, the value for cost is overrated. The front office, including the Director, took no accountability. The reception desk staff were good. Overall, I definitely would not recommend Brookdale Paddock Hills to others.

I believe all categories would score a 5. All he folks we've met there are very friendly and helpful. Mom says the meals are wonderful. The facility is always clean, I think the floors of individuals ' rooms could be better swept and mopped. Hallways and communal rooms are spotless. There has been a discrepancy in cost each month, billing department says X is the cost, I was promised that Y was the figure. I have been paying what I was told and so far no big problems.

My loved one was previously a resident at Brookdale Paddock Hills and the experience was not a good one. There seemed to be a breakdown in communication. If the resident refused to bathe, the staff couldn't make them. My loved one went five days in the same clothes and developed sores. We brought Home Health in to care for that. Then she got Covid and things were terrible for her. It was like moving mountains to get anything for pain. I could get them to give meds while I was there, but when I left nothing seemed to happen. My loved one's ability to thrive went down very fast. We had a sitter for five days who kept my loved one and her bed clean. Talking with the head nurse I was told that she would change my loved one's pain meds from as needed to every six hours, only to fail to let me know that med tech didn't work that night. The sitter called me the next morning to let me know that my loved one started moaning and begging God to help her at 3AM. I have other things, but that is enough. I would not recommend this facility and have a lot of guilt for not taking my loved one out. She went fast at the end.

Assisted Living is not for folks that need help with everything, even if the addendums say so. Really look over the contract before you sign.....check to see if there are many empty rooms, too. That's a sign.

We’ve had an excellent experience. People have been extraordinarily kind, helpful, supportive and informative. We get emails often from staff about my mother, and we get phone calls when there have been problems. I like the facility because it is small, and the community is solid. The staff and the director have been there for a while, and that’s important too. And they post picture updates often on their Facebook page so that I can see my mother and how she’s doing. They’ve helped us with medical paperwork and been really wonderful so far. I know my mother is getting good care in the memory care facility.

Everything gets 5 stars from me minus the food because I have not eaten here yet. The main reason we chose Brookdale Paddock Hills was because of the value for the money compared to others that we looked into. What has stuck out most about tis facility is the people, everyone is very friendly and helpful.

The staff and personnel have all been Angels, very professional. The care and with them remembering names and addressing all as such make everyone feel at home. Some of the personnel goes above and beyond anything I had ever thought possible. Thank you for a wonderful place.
