Staff is on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide peace of mind and help everyone feel safe and secure. They get to know the residents on an individual basis, and treat them as family.</p> <h3>Community Amenities and Services</h3> <p>D &amp; P Special Needs Center offers a true community setting that allows seniors to come together in a social manner. This atmosphere helps residents feel comfortable, relaxed, and active, and allows them to get the care and support they need.</p> <p>Our community enjoys a large number of amenities, including: </p><ul><li>Restaurant-style dining</li> <li>On- and off-site activities</li> <li>Crafts and games</li> <li>Community TV rooms for group movie nights</li> <li>Holiday celebrations</li></ul><p></p> <h3>Living Arrangements</h3> <p>We offer a comfortable selection of private and semi-private units for residents to make their own. Our community also offers complete access to all facilities and amenities throughout the day.</p> <h3>Care Types Offered</h3> <p>D &amp; P Special Needs Center is an <em>adult foster care facility</em>, which in the state of Michigan is a facility that provides foster care for adults who are aged, mentally ill, developmentally disabled, or physically disabled who require supervision on an ongoing basis but who do not require continuous nursing care.
