From the manicured lawns to the shaded outdoor patio and common living spaces, residents have many spaces they can safely engage with other residents and visiting family and friends. Desert Hills Memory Care Center is located near area shopping, restaurants, and medical centers to keep residents connected with the nearby community. Come make Desert Hills your new home under the California sun! </p><h3>Desert Hills Memory Care Center Details</h3> <p>At Desert Hills, it’s important that loved ones are an active part of the care plan process in order to help every resident function at their highest level possible. Residents are provided with a variety of additional personal care services on top of memory care, including diabetic care, incontinence care, ambulatory care, and medication management. Community specialists make regular on-site visits to provide ancillary services and all regular staff members are specially trained in memory care. </p><p>Residents are provided three chef-prepared meals a day and dietary accommodations can easily be made for residents with specific nutritional needs. On-site activities are held each day and residents are encouraged to jump in and get to know other residents. Both on-site and off-site activities and events are organized for residents. </p><h3>Living Arrangements</h3> <p>Residents are offered studio or semi-private apartments to call home. These spacious and sunlit room styles come equipped with amenities such as wheelchair-accessible showers, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. Respite stays are always an option for seniors not looking to make a full-time move and ground-floor units may be available at the time of interest. </p><h3>State Classification</h3> <p>Desert Hills Memory Care Center is a <em>residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE)</em>, which in the state of California is a housing arrangement for persons 60 years or older where supervision and personal care is provided based on the needs of the residents. These facilities are also known as <em>assisted living facilities</em> and <em>board and care facilities</em>.
