Overall, very pleased with Glassford Place for my Mother’s care. It has been a challenge getting my Mom’s medications under control with the staff but I believe that may finally be moving in the right direction. My Mom has settled in well and has stated that she enjoys the good food served.

I've been to Glassford Place at all times of the day and night; it's always clean. The staff treats the residents with the utmost respect. They get to know the names of each resident and treat each resident like family. They also get to know their likes and dislikes. My mother feels safe, which eleviates our worries that she's safe.

Very friendly and professional staff. Always very clean. Meals r well prepared and tasty. They r prompt when my mother in law presses the call button. The staff is attentive to her needs. They even set her up with a PCP, so she does not have to travel to the Doctor. They do a great job here. !

Its been a year since we were there, but we would give the overall experience a 5. Glassford Place was very quaint and well managed, while my mother in law lived there. We moved her because she is too active, and the facility is more restricted.

I would not recommend Glassford Place. Their corporate policy seems to be "never have enough staff".

[name removed] really stands out from any caregiver I have ever come across. She really cares about her residents from the heart and it shows. I’m so proud to know my mother is well taken care of cause of really good people like this!!!! You can tell she has been at this facility for a long time and I pray to god she stays!!!…. Bless her heart!!…

I toured this facility and wasn't impressed. The overall cleanliness was ok, but the facility itself is pretty old. The room we were shown was carpeted. The carpet was old and it smelled. It wasn't a horrible facility, but not at all what we were looking for. The atmosphere just felt depressing. They had set visiting hours. I think the care level was more advanced than what my loved one needed.

I would say that the staff treat the residents like family. The facility has a very warm welcoming, Country feel that is a pleasure to visit. The only complaint is the lack of consistency in management. The residents, who are able-bodied are not experiencing outside activities due to staffing issues. However; based on recent communication from Glassford Place, we're confident that this issue is being addressed.

Glassford place has been a great fit for my loved one. It certainly isn't the most beautiful building, but the people are great. My loved one has easily formed friendships, and because it is so small, it is very much like a family. The social director is fantastic. There seems to be an activity going on at least once a day. I am very thankful my loved one lives at Glassford place.

From my experience with at Glassford Place, I give a 5/5 to all aspects. From the beginning of the process, through to move-in, and up to the present, the people there have been so great! Talking to my mom today, she was telling me how much she enjoys the activities and the young woman who organizes them.

We are happy with the care our loved one is receiving but due to the staffing struggles sometimes the communication and the consistency of the care is lacking. Even though our loved one does not take advantage of the activities there are plenty for the residents to do.

They were great to work with and very patient. The staff were very helpful. The food was okay, just average cafeteria food. But I really appreciated how much they stayed in touch with us. It took us a long time to place my mother because she was adamant about not going. When it became clear that she needed memory care instead, which Glassford doesn't offer, they were instrumental in getting us to the right place for my mom to receive the care that she needed.

This might be a good option for my Dad. I like the idea of individual apartments and courtyard. They are allowing 30 min visits with family on their porch. They don't currently have any open beds, but the receptionist directed me to their sister companies through the parent company, Enlivant. Their are openings at the sister homes in the Phoenix area.

I can say that the receptionist, nurses, caregivers, and kitchen staff are wonderful at Glassford Place, as are the residents. Of disappointment is the lack of activities, which are very limited in scope. Many scheduled activities are also not carried out due to lack of a larger number of participants, or lack of a staff member to start an activity. A new activity director would be a blessing to Glassford Place if they could also be hired full time. Was told by staff that residents mainly sit in their rooms watching T.V, folding their laundry, etc. in between meals. Housekeeping is not able to tidy up rooms each day. Instead the one housekeeper cleans all once weekly with a 'through' cleaning is said to be done once monthly. I could not recommend this facility except to someone whose loved one is maybe bed bound. I'm sorry that the director and head nurse do not take an active role is what is going on in Glassford Place and defers all activity responsibilities to the activity director. They must know that lack of stimulation. etc plays a huge part in the health and wellness of the residents. Sorry this could not have been a very positive review of Glassford Place which employs many wonderful people whose loving care seems to be what keeps this facility afloat.

this is just for glass ford place. The staff enters the room when ever they desire even with out knocking. They take all your over the counter vitamins and supplements until or if you can get a prescription from a doctor for them. they are used to people who need considerable amount of care and do a decent job from wha I can see, I do know they are bound by state regulations.

I’ve been very pleased with the people that work here and how they care for my Mom. The whole set up is very nice. It’s a smaller facility and there aren’t a lot of residents, so there’s a lot of one on one care. Everything is situated on a single level because they’re very conscious about safety and security, which I really like. They have plenty of things to do and they check up on everyone a lot, which is something I was worried about because I didn’t want her to be in her room all day. The food seems to be very good. 3 times a week they have chair exercises, there are games that they play on different days, just about every day there’s a domino game going on, and there are a lot of different types of crafts. They’ll take the residents to lunch, if they want to go out, on Fridays and there’s even someone that comes to do their hair if they’d like. The staff has been very proactive in taking care of my concerns and they’re very open to our needs. I would recommend them and in fact I already have.
