Smyrna Village is a licensed memory care community that is under new ownership. We are family-owned and military-owned and we have a passion for creating a supportive environment for those closely involved in the lives of our residents. <br><br>We believe that individuals with dementia can lead full and happy lives in the right environment, which is why we have developed the "Active Minds" program. This program uses materials similar to Montessori to help our loved ones with dementia maintain cognitive ability and independence. We believe that activities and entertainment are not enough for a fulfilling life, and that giving our residents tasks and responsibilities can help them feel relevant and content. <br><br>Our small community allows for a cozy, home-like atmosphere and more personalized care. Our location is very central and in a walkable neighborhood of Smyrna, directly across for the Village Market.<br><br>Our community has 38 spacious private and semi-private rooms and an on-site cook who prepares homemade, nutritious meals. We provide daily housekeeping and laundry services, as well as assistance with daily living activities such as ambulation, bathing, nutrition, and medication supervision. <br><br>The new owners of Smyrna Village are dedicated and present on the property weekly. They are committed to maintaining high standards of care and have a reputation for excellence.
