<p>Smaller than some large facilities, but larger than a board and care home, our 38-bed, ranch-style community focuses on letting our residents enjoy all that life has to offer. Our calendar encompasses a wide variety of activities and outings, so there is something for everyone’s interests. Plus, veterans may be eligible for certain benefits to help offset the cost of care.</p>
<h3>Community Amenities and Services</h3>
<p>At Solano Life House, we like to keep busy with lots of local excursions and community involvement, and encourage our active residents to take trips in our van and explore the surrounding area with us. For those who are unable to join us, we’ll bring the community to them! We invite a variety of guests, including school-aged children, musicians, and even pet therapy services.</p>
<p>It’s important to us that all residents of everyone in Solano Life House are treated with dignity and respect. We have a secure building for the safety of our residents who need memory care. The secure perimeter and courtyard offer an opportunity for everyone in our community to enjoy time soaking up the sun. Care services are accessible around the clock, and we can provide wellness checks on our residents every half hour. We’re happy to help with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and medication management. You won’t need to worry about housekeeping and laundry anymore, either — we’re happy to do it for you! Plus you won’t have to worry about trips to the grocery store, because we serve three meals every day, modified to suit your dietary needs.</p>
<h3>Living Arrangements</h3>
<p>The majority of our rooms are semi-private to foster companionship, however we do have private rooms available, if you desire. Each room has its own private bathroom. We’re happy to provide furnishings for you, but you can also bring your own if you prefer. Your room will be pre-wired for cable and private phone lines, and has access to climate control to help ensure your comfort.</p>
<h3>Care Types Offered</h3>
<p>Solano Life House is a <em>residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE)</em>, which in the state of California is a housing arrangement for persons 60 years or older where supervision and personal care is provided based on the needs of the residents. These facilities are also known as <em>assisted living facilities</em> and <em>board and care facilities</em>. A residential care facility may provide care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s.</p>
