My mom was sent there from TriPoint after a severe UTI. This facility was filthy, under staffed, and had no regard for patients or family. We asked every day for a shower for her. No shower for 10 days. She is at [facility name removed] health and rehab after another UTI. Night and day difference. Great staff, administrators, nurses. Clean and showers are every Tuesdays and Thursdays. I would highly recommend this facility.

Death

My Mother was in there for rehab because she fell & broke her femur bone. After a week in the hospital after surgery, she went to Lake Med. Per doctor's orders she was to be turned over every two hours and that didn't happen only a few times. She couldn't get up to use restroom because she couldn't walk. She messed herself several times because the staff wouldn't come in for hours when she called. Aids working there were very very rude and handled my Mother roughly. I stayed there for hours and took care of her. After a short time there she ended up with 2 very infected bed sores on her butt bone and even went home with them. I had to change her dressings 3x a day. There are only 2 Aids good there, maybe 2 nurses that actually were caring for patients. Residents don't get cared for properly and unless you want a family member to get worse or die I don't recommend this place at all. I actually reported them to the state and filed a report. I wish that I could post pictures, I have lots.

Look elsewhere

One of our family members unfortunately resided here. Care was terrible. Left in filthy wet clothing, not attended to, not taken to the bathroom when needed, rooms not cleaned. At times I visited I found staff on their cell phones at the nurses station and not in the halls with the residents. The problem clearly is insufficient staff and poor supervision of staff.
