needs improvements

The level of care was terrible. When we moved mom in they said they would change her diaper 3 times a night and give her pain pill to her every 4 hours as the doctor ordered. But they could never do that. Even tough they promised. They make lot of promises to get you in the door, but never keep their promises. Lots of lies!! I would not recommend this place to others.

Review for The Meadows Senior Living

The rooms are great. The staff was wonderful with our family member who eventually got used to where he was. He was treated well and the food was a major highlight of his day. And I especially like that the staff really liked our loved one. They enjoyed him very very much.

Excellent Experience

The Meadows Memory Care unit was perfect for what both my husband and I needed for his day to day care, and for my own sanity. The staff are wonderful, caring, understanding, and capable. I would, without hesitation, choose their facility again. It was a blessing for my husband and me, during his stay at the Meadows.

Review for The Meadows Senior Living

My biggest issue is the lack of transparency from Sr management. I pulled family member out of there because she fell, broke her hip, and they did not contact me. It was NOT their fault that she fell but communication with management was extremely poor!

Nice people, but poor management

I originally chose this facility for its smaller size, as my mom had recently had a serious illness and I thought a larger facility would be overwhelming. Also, I was impressed with the friendliness and longevity of the staff. However, over time, poor business practices, which included unresolved questions with billing, paying for services which my mom did not receive even though she and I talked with multiple personnel, and meal wait times of over an hour on a regular basis have led me to believe this is a mid-managed facility. My mom is leaving on [date removed] and moving elsewhere. I would not recommend The meadows.

They had roaches. Food service had very long wait times, there was limited selection for meals, and the taste was poor. Limited care staff available. The meadow is a better choice for those who need no assistance. I do not recommend them to other needing care.

A nice community for our loved one.

When it comes to the cleanliness it is clean but right now they are dealing with cocktail roaches. The friendliness of the staff members gets a 5+++ everyone is very friendly. The quality of care is much better then moms previous LTC facility. We cannot rate the meals and dining because we are not sure they have experienced the meals yet. The staff members work hard to keep residents in MC busy and occupied. The value for cost gets that rating because assisted living is very expensive.

Our experience with The Meadows

The Administrative staff are very responsive however the nursing staff seem to be in a power struggle with each other and the residents. Many (not all) are not patient and do not listen to the needs of the residents. They tend to treat them all the same although their physical and cognition needs vary. Compared to other communities in the area, for the value it is clean and the rooms are decent sized. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend them to other families, howeverthey would need to be actively involved in the care of their family member to hold staff accountable.

Responsive caring staff

We went with The Meadows Senior Living because the size of the facility was smaller and the location of the apartment available, ( first floor vs 2nd floor), and costs. The staff have been responsive when I have questions or concerns. During the COVID pandemic, they had great safety protocols in place.

The Meadows

A caring, attentive staff makes living at the meadows a generally pleasant experience. There are a few residents with "interesting" personalities, but that is true in any community. Various activities are available daily. Wholesome food choices.

Not as convenient for pets. The distance from family was too far. It was a good choice. The management was super kind and helpful.
