Amazing place to live!
I’ve been living here for about a month and I wish I would have come sooner. I didn’t realize all the care I needed until I started receiving it at Westbrook. The staff is amazing and I feel well cared for and safe. I’m proud to call Westbrook home.

The compassionate memory care team at Westbrook and Suncrest have truly set the standard for exceptional memory care and hospice services. From the moment we stepped through their doors, we felt welcomed, supported, and reassured that our Mom was in the best possible hands. The staff is not only highly skilled but deeply empathetic, treating every resident with dignity, patience, and kindness. The caregivers take the time to understand everyone's needs, ensuring they feel valued and respected. Their dedication to creating meaningful moments is heartwarming, whether through engaging activities, gentle encouragement, or simply offering a comforting presence. When the time came for hospice care, we were overwhelmed with the level of attention and emotional support the team provided—not just for our Mom, but for our entire family. Westbrook is the kind of place that everyone wants for their loved ones. After seeing the exceptional care my mother-in-law received from the Memory Care staff and its director in particular, my parents and I agreed that Westbrook was also right them. They liked that the Assisted Living community wasn’t too big and that the facility is beautifully decorated and well-maintained. I found that every WB staff member is genuinely friendly, professional, caring, and empathetic to the unique needs of each resident. The nurses were patient and kind and communicated health concerns with me promptly. The caregivers embraced my folks and many developed warm relationships with them. The maintenance team was responsive and helpful. The activities coordinators worked hard to engage residents in daily activities. My folks lived in Westbrook for 2 years and everyone who works there contributed in making it a true home for them. I highly recommend Westbrook Senior Living.

I found Westbrook through a friend whose mother is there. She started in assisted living and is now in memory care. When I started looking for a facility that could take care of my mom, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's, I was focusing on memory care units. I found Westbrook to be everything I was looking for in a safe, supportive environment. However, when it came time to move my mom, it was determined that Assisted Living would better serve her at this time. We have been so happy with how things turned out! The facility is beautiful, clean, and mom has a spacious apartment of her own. However, the staff is what makes this place special. They are attentive, kind, and supportive! And Mom is getting more social interaction than she ever got at home. I would, without a doubt, recommend Westbrook as a wonderful facility for anybody's loved one. Frankly, I'd move in there myself if I could.

I can’t say enough about Westbrook Senior center. From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted with warmth and kindness. The staff is kind and courteous treating each resident with dignity and respect. The facility is clean and thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of seniors. There is always something engaging happening. The social committee does an excellent job keeping everybody involved. Family fiesta night was a huge success. If you are looking for a place that combines professional care and a heartwarming atmosphere, I wholeheartedly recommend Westbrook.

Everyone there is pretty friendly and helpful. My dad seems to like it there. They do organize a lot of family nights and activities. The building is beautiful, very clean and well kept. My only complaint would be that I don't feel that they encouraged him enough to be social and now he just pretty much stays in his room (although his health has declined and that could be part of the reason)

From the sales staff to the medical staff to the activities staff to the front desk staff everything is done well. The facility is beautiful not too big not too small. The residents are very friendly and look out for each other.

We were very pleased when we first moved in and for the first 6-8 months but then they raised their prices quite a bit and some of their practices have been frustrating. *The Senior Home is run by a Corporate office and sometimes the decisions that are made at the corporate level impacts the residents in a negative way. *Staffing has been cut in the food serving areas mostly and also in the desk coverage after 7pm. *We have chosen to stay with our doctors outside of the facility as we have not had good reviews of the GP & foot doctors that come to the facility. *Main thing is the food. The service is slow and they often wait 30-45 minutes to be served. They changed the hours and it still has not helped. They have to go down very early to get served the special for the day and not have to get whatever is left at the end of the dinner time. *They do a great job with activities and games for the residents. The team of people to keep them busy and in community is wonderful! *The nurses are great as well. They take very good care of mom and make sure she has what she needs and communicates with me often to keep me in the loop. Very grateful for that. *We also have been grateful for the opportunity to use the central areas and also private rooms for some family events. We are grateful she is being well cared for but these items above frustrate Mom so they frustrate us. Wish for a little more communication from the management to the families of the residents so we can stay updated on the various changes.

The memory care staff and caregivers are all wonderful! Very friendly, helpful and compassionate. Even the maintenance staff addresses the residents by name and offer friendly hellos and hugs. Nice family feel. The building is clean, the grounds are beautiful and there's a nice, safe outdoor space for memory care residents to enjoy. We toured other local communities and were always drawn back to Westbrook. My mom seems happy and receives great care and attention. We highly recommend Westbrook Senior Living!

Mom likes being there. The food gets repetitive, but not sure how to avoid that. It's gone up [fee removed] since we've been there. Overall, the staff is attentive, we have her doing some exercise extras to keep her (basically PT that we pay for rather than via insurance). It's clean and bright and there is a lot to do if you want to (my mom mostly doesn't - she likes her TV). Sometimes we don't get promptly notified of things, like mom started ordering her meals in because her knee was hurting and she couldn't walk to the cafe. Would have liked to get a notice for that perhaps on the second day and not later.

Care can be expensive, but within range. There is no option for Medicaid, which is a problem. There are private pay expenses and it's important to look at those. The facility and grounds are very nice, clean and well kept. There is also a chef on site.

The staff and caregivers have been very friendly and helpful. Residents are given the freedom to wander around a bit and socialize but they are in a completely safe environment and can't get past securely locked outer doors.

Our Mom has been at Westbrook for 4 months and we see the attentive staff helping all the residents. Westbrook is very clean and the staff always makes the residents feel at home. Many activities for all and outdoor areas r very nice. We are happy that we have our Mom At Westbrook.

We put our 95-year-old uncle in Westbrook a month ago. Unfortunately he only lived for three weeks. The staff was great. [Name removed] is very good at explaining everything and helped us a great deal. I would definitely put a loved one in there again.

My sister and I were able to move our mother from Arkansas to Westbrook in October 2023. Due to our mother’s diagnoses of Parkinson and Dementia, she was still able to be admitted into the assisted living facility. Not long thereafter, mom’s condition deteriorated and we had to move her into the memory care unit. This was not an easy process. However, [name removed] and her staff were so kind and understanding that they made the transaction very doable. Several weeks later, mom had to be admitted into hospice. Two weeks later she passed. Westbrook staff of [names removed] could not have been any more sympathetic, understanding and helpful to mom and our families needs. Mom was treated by the nurses and the nursing aides like our mom was their mom. They bathed her, made sure she received her meds, made sure she was comfortable and cried with us when mom passed away. From the first day we walked in the door and every time thereafter we felt like we were home.
