Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Life is a journey, not a destination.” We find great truth in those simple words. Along life’s road we encounter people, places, and things that add or detract from our own life experiences. I write these lines remembering our first visit to Strake Place and our subsequent choice of Strake Place facility when it became necessary to find a good and loving place for our family member We want to take this opportunity to praise the staff’s dedication to our loved ones care. Along with the loving support our mom received, each member of the staff chose to provide care to each member of the immediate family. The kindness and care you provided at Strake Place cannot be measured in a monthly fee or a paycheck at the end of the week. Strake Place is a special place with special people. Anyone fortunate enough to reside there can rest assured of the professional staff and quality of care.

It was nice and clean, and the people were friendly. We were here two different times. It was a good place, they just didn't offer all of the things we needed and we had to find something that offered more personal care. A very good place though, I'd probably give them a five, just not the best fit.

I think it's great. I think they are doing a great job. I would give them a five.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. I have very impressed with everything about brookdale ellington. This has been a very easy and wonderful experience. I could not have picked a better place for mom. I have told all of my friends about this location

So far they have been fantastic. We haven't had any major complaints at all. It's clean, the staff is friendly. We have been very happy with them.

Having lived in the same house for over 55 years, the changes facing our family member were daunting. The transition to assisted living was made easier by facility being pet friendly and our loved one being able to take his small dog with him to assisted living. The director, Katherine, goes way beyond what is required to help in any way she can. But the real proof is from what the resident thinks and when our family member was presented with a possible opportunity to go back home he said did not want to hurt anyone's feelings but "they treat me good here and I believe I'll stay."

Lucille and her staff run an amazing community! They are competent, kind and compassionate. My dad has been sick since he moved in and everyone has been so kind to him and my family. I wished we had found them sooner. Highly recommend

Having to move my father into Legacy Ranch was a hard decision but we are happy with the choice we made. Most of the staff is friendly and the community looks really nice. My father has been eating more so the food there must be good. I feel that the staff there care's about him and are really working with him to adjust with the move. He does seem comfortable being around people like himself which is very nice. We would recommend this community.

I loved it there, I use to work in the beauty shop,I was there for 6 yrs, I had so much fun with the residents and staff ??

The facility is great. Everything is going good here. They offer a lot of activities. The facility is very clean and they provide great care services.

We have visited unannounced a couple every few weeks for the past several months and we have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The place is clean and well maintained. our friends are well cared for and are content. We are happy for them to have such a nice living space.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

We're very pleased with how things have turned out at Broadmoor Place! It's a nice looking, clean facility, and I think they do a wonderful job taking care of the residents. The staff is exceptional, they're warm and professional, and they've done a great job working with my loved one. I'm just very impressed overall!

Things are going very well at Sundance. I really like what they are doing there. She had been there almost 2 months and has not had a fall. She is high risk for falling. I would highly recommend Sundance for anyone with Memory issues and falling. They keep the occupied and involved so that they do not injure themselves.

Brookdale has been awesome! He loves it. He enjoys his lunch group. No complaints about maintenance or anything. The person I initially contacted Robin she was and continues to be their biggest asset. We liked the wide hallways, and it's very homey. I think they do a very good job of accommodating their residents, as far as having a very accessible building.

They are just very friendly and they pay attention to what my loved one needs. They come check on him every couple of hours. Some of the girls are better than others, but the others are still okay. They do pretty well over there.

When I was looking for a place for my loved one, the first thing I looked for was the smell, and Brookdale was nice and clean. Then also I looked at the faces of the residents, and everyone looked happy and content. The staff was very nice and personable and they take what they do very seriously.

My mom does not do a lot of activities. The thing I like the most is the friendliness of the staff and also the residents are also friendly.
