Of the several homes I've had family in this seems to be least hospitable. In my experience staff are the least courteous or helpful to those who reside here or their families. Frankly they seem to encourage turnover in their residents expediting this process through neglect and dispassionate regard for their duties. We've moved my family members from one room to another hoping for a better outcome. My family members while elderly had very keen minds and were physically fit even traveling stairs regularly before coming to Chesterbrook. In less that a year all of there faculties and abilities have significantly diminished. In every aspect of their lives they are worse off. I quote my family residing there when I say, "This [Chesterbrook] is place people come to die." Do not let your loved one suffer this place.

If you are interested in choosing this facility, please look elsewhere. If there was a medical emergency i am worried the outcome would be bad. Loved ones would be safer living in there own homes. Staffing is bare bones. Weekend staffing is even less. My mother-in-law has been here for a yr and a half with two leadership changes, but still no communication and poor service. They will tell you what you want to hear, but they have never delivered. Price has been increased two times in less than two years. Staff is nice enough, but I have yet to find someone that cares and takes initiative. There is no leadership on any level. There may be titles, but there is no one acting in a leadership role. Drop by on a weekend and you will witness a ghost town. I have talked with relatives of tenants and tenents themselves and the story is always the same this place is. PATHETIC , can't find any staff , no help if you need it. My Mother-in-law has said on numerous occasions after lunch or breakfast she is returned to her floor and dropped off the elevator and she has to scoot herself in her wheelchair back to her room that is a good 15-20 yards away.

My friend's father took a turn for the worst and these people were rude and said he had to go now. No assistance in helping my friend figure this out. There is no other family and my friend visited almost daily and had meals with his father and others staying there.
