Overall I think they do a nice job at Brookdale Cordova. It is a clean, well kept facility, and for the most part the staff is friendly and helpful. The price is also very affordable compared to some of the other options we saw in the area. However, I don't feel like she is getting quite the level of attention that they claimed she would during the tour.

As far as improving, they have quite a few residents in Assisted Living that have dementia that tend to wander off and they are not able to watch them as they should. I think their staff is very caring and they honestly do try to care for their patients.

We feel my father is not yet at the point of being in memory care only.

Brookdale Cordova has been a nice facility for us, I believe they're working on cleanliness. They lost their activity director, so they haven't had much as far as activities for awhile. My mom likes it there, at first it was difficult but she's gotten into the routine, has met people, and Brookdale made it much easier on our family overall.

We toured this community while looking into senior living options for a loved one. I thought Brookdale Cordova looked like a very nice place! The staff all seemed like very friendly, caring people, and they provided us with a lot of useful information! We actually looked at more than one Brookdale property, and it seems like a very well run company overall!

The people there are nice, their helpful, They have a nice attitude. My mother is in Memory Care, that is where she needs to be. They are taking very good care of her. The Director of that unit is very knowledgeable, very friendly, very helpful and he has been able to get my mother to eat on days she did not want to eat and he was able to get her eat. That is very impressive to me.

My Mom is adjusting well, but we are still trying to figure out medication and other health issues.

I like the place, it was clean and the personnel very friendly, rooms not available to may/jun. Price is reasonable 4500-5300 for both parents.

We found Rock Spring Village to fit Mom's needs and ours. It is an older faculity that is well maintained. Mom liked the faculity when we visited, which was very important. The staff made Mom feel very comfortable and welcomed upon her arrival. She is enjoying the food and is now interacting with other residences. She is adjusting well. The staff made it easy for us to move in and decorate her apartment.

The facility is clean and bright. Provides the level of care we feel is necessary with a more reasonable cost than other facilities we visited. This is also the most convient for us. The administrator we worked with (Chrissy Smith) was very friendly, informative and helpful. She handled my mom very well and made her more comfortable and less apprehensive. The room suited us better since it is basically two rooms, like a very small apartment. This is an older facitity than the others on this list.

I was relieved after recently moving my Aunt to Buckingham Estates to find that what I was told would happen, basicly does happen. The care is good, the place is clean, there is a lot of effort to engage the residents and a wide variety of activities to participate in. Like any facility that I've been familiar with, the more the family is involved, the better things go. This is true of Buckingham although the majority of the staff seems to love what they do and I get the feeling they're wonderful with the residents when you're there and when you're not.

This is a lovely facility with many wonderful staff and activities. However, if your loved one needs enhanced physical support, take an extra look at the number, consistency and quality of the nurse's aides. As my mother declined physically, some of the aides expressed frustration with her and the inconsistent Staffing meant that aides were not familiar with her and her needs. A fall led to hospitalization and then to Skilled Nursing Care.

This is a nice community and my mom was here for about 2 months. The staff are friendly and caring and kept me well informed about my mom. The problem was that it is a larger community and my mom was not adjusting well to that and I felt that with her memory care she would do better in a smaller home-like environment. I would suggest taking a tour here as it is a very nice community.

The staff is so friendly and caring. They helped me through this difficult time. My mother did not want to leave her home with me. She is slowly adjusting. The staff is working with her to engage in the activities that they offer, which is a lot, even activities for residents that can't sleep through the night. They have activities for them. Very accommodating.

During the tour, I was impressed with what I saw, the longevity of their employees, and that many employees had family members living there. Mom is due to move in in a few days, and I am hopeful that her stay will be an enjoyable one.

Nurses are great and very attentive. Activities are good and my mom enjoys them, dining should have more variety of food, they need more aides for the residents.

It takes a long time for help to arrive. Admin is slow to get bsck to me about things. I'm hearing most are the same. It's a good value but could be better

I would recommend someplace else. They lack help and sometimes my dad would go a couple weeks without a shower. He sometimes sleeps in his clothing if no one comes to change him.
