Brookdale

Overall, very pleased - 5/5. The residents seem genuinely happy, and several have shared positive comments with me directly. One resident, who is still quite lucid, told me, "I hate having to be in a place like this-but if you have to be somewhere like this, this is a really good place." The staff are kind, responsive, and helpful, and the food is excellent. You can truly taste the care and effort the chef puts into every meal. The main downside has been a lack of transparency regarding the costs. We ended up paying significantly more than what was initially quoted, which has been frustrating. I strongly recommend that others review the contract carefully-word for word-and be mindful of how certain fees are worded, as some charges were not clearly communicated upfront.

Very clean and helpful. If they can handle their own medicine, that is the only plus I will add. NC state very strict and they stay to the letter. A lot of programs are offered.

Over all experience met all of dad's needs - beautiful, spacious one bedroom; respectful, conscientious care givers; excellent director of nursing. Evidently, Bingo is lots of fun. The only complaint from my father is about the food, but then he is a picky eater.

Staff has Always been friendly,courteous and respectful and helpful. The facility is very clean and the mood is uplifting and cheerful. They are willing to help and make my brother comfortable. Since he has been a resident he smiles more often. Everybody greets me anytime I visit. They have scheduled a lot of activities and events to keep him active.

The people there seem universally very nice and the management staff was very accommodating. The facility seems to be very well run and organized. The in-take process was very smooth. The facility is very clean.

It is a beautiful facility with lovely, helpful staff. I would recommend Brookdale Niskayuna to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

Everything is just great all the staff and personal are supper

From the first call to "A Place For my mom" the experience has been awesome- we had many bumps along the way but all the facilities that we wanted were very patient and professional and understanding-Uncle [name removed] chose Apache junction. He can see the mountains from his window-and when he looked out the window on the tour- He said "I am home!" I can still see my mountain.

Brookdale Monument Valley is a community centered warm-hearted experience. Unlike the more impersonal and corporate type facilities offered elsewhere.

The facility is very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend Brookdale Hixson!

Brookdale has been fantastic! They love it there. They love the classes and activities, the meals are very good and they like the social aspect.

They were Always willing to take calls, they know their patients by name. They also seem to care for them. Yes I would recommend it. It would be nice for the seniors to have a shuttle van eventually so they can go run errands in groups

Staff are very good, well trained & educated. No personal experience but no complaints from my patient/resident regarding the meals and dining. need more activities/ programs based on the mental level of the patient/resident. good. Consistent with mid-range for comparative facilities. Brookdale was very helpful for my relative and my family while we were going thru the treatment. I would recommend Brookdale to anyone in need of their services

5 for all. They have been wonderful. The staff and I mean all of them get to know the family members as well as the residents. They have a wonderful activity program to keep the residents busy. When I take my sister out she doesn't recognize the outside of the building but she knows where she is once we go in.

The activities, service at the front desk, love my waitress remember my name and take good care of me. My room is spacious and they even clean it once a week for me! I love it here, the other residents are friendly too.

Very nice place cost is getting expensive. Do we need expense of a pool which virtually no one uses?

All staff are like family, helpful, friendly gives hugs when needed, will go get meds at Walgreens when necessary, always someone close by when you need someone to talk to.

Staff and residents are all friendly. The food is very delicious. The activities are also very fun to be apart of.
