It's a beautiful building, very well designed and decorated. It's less expensive than other popular places. The food is quite good. Nearly all the staff are kind and good people. Some of the aides are not careful about details like properly administering meds, or correctly putting in hearing aids. That is my main concern. But I think that would be the case elsewhere.

Be prepared for additional fees for every small service - making a bed, meal brought to the room, etc. Prepare to bring your loved one toilet paper, Kleenex, soap, Depends, etc. are not provided. Woodbury has major water issue due to 3M contamination of the aquifer. Until that is fixed, the city is recommending bottled water. Prepare to bring cases of water regularly for your loved one to drink. Staff turnover seems frequent - aids, nurses and maintenance. Communication with management and staff is problematic and often not taken to completion. Beautiful building, but lots of room for improvement in many areas. Unsure about recommending Talamore to others, but also know that every Assisted Living and Memory Care seem to have many of the same issues.

NorBella Savage provide great care to the residents and prepares great food! We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Many of the staff members there have changed over the past year which has upset my mother in law. However, based on the experience we have had we would recommend Amira Choice to other families.

They are friendly and helpful. I don't know about the food, even the basics seem like very poor execution. No flavor and overly salty, it even looks unappetizing. The activities never seem to change, just adding a little variety would be nice so that it appeals to a broader audience such as visits to museums or local libraries or historical places, etc.

The community is in a accessible location. It is very clean. Staff are caring and accessible for residents, always greet you with a smile. Happy environment. Care is as good as can be expected - maintenance and housekeeping are great. It is difficult to satisfy the variety of palettes and food likes. There are enough activities to keep one busy most of the days satisfactory religious experience. The value for the money can't be beat!

There was a changeover of staff several months ago and things seemed to get better. There were a few questionable moments in the first several months. For memory care specifically. Staff seem to know [name removed] well. They know his likes and dislikes. They make sure to include him in activities. David seems very content.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and very nice. Even though my family member chooses not to participate, they have many activities and try to get the residents involved. The fees are high and I think the facility communication with the family could use a little improvement, but overall our experience has been good.

If you went by looks of the place alone, you would think it would be the best, because it's beautiful and clean and the salespeople and director are really good at selling the place. If you are needing a higher level of care, there are only a few staff members that seem skilled and trained enough to care for that level. Generally speaking, the staff are good and kind, but there are a few that are condescending and seem to avoid working with the residents, which ruins the positivity of the other aspects. They are understaffed like almost all places and many of the good staff are overworked and work doubles and you can tell are getting burnt out. I would train the staff better in transferring patients that need a 1-2 person transfer. Having lessons from a PT would be helpful (I had one lesson and had the PT giving me pointers a couple of times and I can easily transfer my loved one by myself and I'm a little person). The cleaning is good, they come once a week, but I wish they would avoid the heavily scented cleaners and use something that is more natural and not as potent. The move in process was easy and there is a back entrance and elevator and they have carts available. The meals are good and they have plenty of options. Generally speaking, yes, I would recommend the facility to others.

[name removed] was very good at follow ups. I toured 4 places and Global Pointe won.

The community is small and very friendly. I am 75 and most of the residents are in their 80's and 90's. There is limited shuttle bus service-once every 2 weeks. Food is mediocre. Washer/Dryers are in each room. Our fees increased 10% for 2023; don't know what it will be for 2024.

On a whole this is a fine place to live. One question I have or concern is why there is no security on until midnight on weekdays or weekends.

Venue: Very nice, attractive, welcoming. Staff: helpful, responsive, observant. Activities: better than most, varied entertainment and frequency is good. Residents: friendly, helpful and interesting.

Communication on things like laundry pick up and delivery times, daily check in, too random, reminder knocks and even opening the door to announce meal times. Had to be addressed. The community is very new and clean. New facilities have a lot of 'bugs' to work out. They are addressing them promptly when made aware. Thermostat malfunctioning and they replaced it right away! The staff are so friendly and greet us in the halls, etc. The care services will improve as staff is there longer, they just opened 2 months ago. Still getting a feel for it all, residents and staff. The meals are very good. Learned quickly that half portions are best! Seem willing to work with dietary preferences. The activities are much more sparse than we thought. Chair exercises, a movie, occasional outings, happy hour or grill out is good. I think our expectations were not realistic in this area. Thinking there would be more organized small group things for people with more memory issues and wanting to stay connected in simple activities. Maybe they have to live in the memory care section for these types of activities. They seem more geared to fully cognitive people. The value for cost is a lot of $ of course, but the whole industry is heartbreaking for our seniors to afford. It's reassuring to know that help is there if needed though!

I toured Hayden Grove Bloomington and it was a good tour! The facility was pretty clean. All of the staff that I met were great. The friendliness was great, also!

Based on our experience we would recommend this community to other families.

The staff was attentive, loving, and kind, but there were not enough of them. They did their best, considering short staff, especially after we complained. Mom fell and pushed her button numerous times and finally had to crawl to her phone to call my sister. By the time my sister got there, they still hadn't been to Mom's room. It seems there was an equipment issue and not enough staff. Meals weren't like they are described in the brochure, but they were okay. Mom used to complain that they served rice too often. Activities were definitely lacking when she was there. Same thing - not enough people. Also, not a lot of residents then. Mom hasn't been there for quite some time, so it's probably better now. The overall cleanliness was okay, but they did not clean her room often enough or well enough. My sisters and I had to do most the cleaning even though we were paying for it.

My loved one has only been there for a short amount of time due to them breaking a bon and having to be in the hospital or rehab the rest of the time. Our tour with the community was fine. The move in was on our own. The staff communication with the family has been good.

Overall, my mother-in-law has been happy with the facility/care. But like any place, some staff members are better than others in her opinion. I think there's sometimes limited space for activities. Also, sending emails/newsletters about upcoming family events would be nice. Maybe that's already done and we just haven't seen it.

We were pleased with everything overall.
